THE ROMAN CUISINE: GROCERY SHOPPING AND COOKING CLASS IN A SMALL GROUP

Our goal is to deepen your passion for food and have you return home with a greater appreciation for cooking, along with plenty of useful tips and techniques to recreate the experience yourself. This tour is designed to help you discover and enjoy authentic Roman cuisine through a fun, engaging, and interactive culinary experience.

You will meet in the morning as part of a small group of up to 8 participants, creating a relaxed and personal atmosphere as you explore the secrets of traditional Roman cooking.

Accompanied by a professional chef, you’ll stroll through the heart of Rome, visiting popular local markets and shops in search of the freshest seasonal ingredients. Along the way, your chef will introduce you to the different products and share expert advice on how to identify and select the highest-quality produce.

Once your shopping is complete, you’ll head to a unique and specially selected kitchen, where you’ll receive your apron and get ready to roll up your sleeves—the culinary adventure is about to begin!

During the cooking class, you’ll discover how to prepare fresh pasta from scratch, along with a selection of other authentic Roman specialties, using the finest seasonal ingredients. Once the cooking is finished, it’s time to enjoy the results! Gather around the table to taste and savour the delicious dishes prepared by the group, accompanied by a wonderful glass of wine or another beverage of your choice.
