PANORAMIC BIKE TOUR OF THE AMALFI COAST WITH FREE TIME IN POSITANO

You will meet your cycling instructor in the heart of Sorrento, at the charming Piazza Tasso. After getting on your bike, your cycling adventure will begin as you head towards Meta, riding through the picturesque towns of Sant’Agnello and Piano di Sorrento. Upon reaching Meta, you will follow an uphill route alongside the church dedicated to the “Madonna del Lauro.” This scenic 5-kilometre road, featuring a 4–5% gradient, will take you to the village of Colli di San Pietro, where you will begin your descent along the SS 163 towards the spectacular Amalfi Coast.

The first stretch of the road winds gently downhill, revealing a succession of spectacular coastal panoramas. The breathtaking scenery, where the deep blue sea meets the open sky, creates a captivating blend of colours and fragrances that will stay with you long after the ride. On reaching Positano, you will have plenty of leisure time to explore this enchanting coastal village, admire its vibrant hillside homes overlooking the turquoise waters, and wander through its charming lanes and lively squares. After exploring Positano, you will cycle back to Sorrento, following the same route and making your way towards the highest point of the Sorrento Peninsula, the summit of Sant’Angelo. The final ascent can be challenging for experienced and well-trained cyclists, although the demanding section is relatively short. At the summit, you will pause to admire the spectacular views across the Gulf of Naples and the Gulf of Salerno—a memorable finale to your remarkable cycling experience.
